About a year ago, on the 8th March 2014, I photographed the wedding of Mark and Charlotte in Llechwen Hall; a wonderful wedding venue in the Bridgend area. The day started with some photographs of Charlotte making her preparations for her big day. Llechwen hall is a wonderful location, with beautiful rooms and a wonderful garden with outstanding views. With champagne and laughter, the day evolved as Charlotte made her way down the beautiful stairway and around to the wedding room.

We were offered sunshine and smiles all day as the wedding party made it’s way to the bar for drinks and canapes after the bride and groom were wed. Mark was super on the day; a real pleasure to be with. we then moved on to the formal shots. we used the fountain outside the main doorway, and used the lovely low light that the spring day had in store. The bride, groom and I then took a stroll around the grounds in the early evening light for more formal shots, before the kids joined us for some fun shots.

Later on, we went around to the marquee where Mark and Charlotte were to enjoy their wedding breakfast. Speeches were given and drinks were served, and the food was brought out. All in all, a fabulous day was had by all, the bride and groom were wonderful, the photographs from the day were helped out by perfect light, and the happy couple were a joy to work with.
