~Wedding Photography Bridgend and South Wales~
On an August evening, a few years back, I photographed the wedding party of Jemma and Craig. Having tied the knot in foreign climes, they decided to have a wedding party at the Atlantic Hotel, in Porthcawl. Considering it was August, the weather was not exactly hot, so we set up a portable studio and had fun with the formal shots inside. There was a great party vibe the whole time, and the guests had a wonderful time, celebrating Jemma and Craigs big day. The Atlantic Hotel (the reception venue) is a beautiful hotel that is situated in a wonderful environment on the seafront of Porthcawl. It has spectacular views out to the Bristol Channel, and the sunsets from the balcony are fabulous, even in stormy weather!
As a Bridgend Wedding Photographer, it is great to have the scope to travel around Wales shooting different locations and meeting the lovely people I encounter on their big day! Jem and Craig were great on their day, super chilled out, fab people, and made the day a smooth one by just being themselves – happy, relaxed and in love! Even though we were spoilt with the Cyprus sunshine on our wedding day, I was disappointed with the relentless rain for our party back home. However your quick-thinking and flexibility on the day was awesome. I can’t believe how effective the portable studio was.
