Well what a wedding this one was! One of the best I’ve ever photographed and been part of? Definitely. And it still holds the record for most photographs I’ve taken (about 34gb). Jo and Phil got married three years ago, and I was very lucky to be part of their day. I started with the lovely Jo as she made her preparations at Monnow valley recording studio, on the outskirts of Monmouth. The backdrop was the amazing recording room in the studios, and the atmosphere was relaxed and bouncy as Jo got ready (and organised her shoes). Phil, meanwhile, got ready in Hendre Farm House.
The ceremony was held in St. Cenedlon Church, in Rockfield and was an intimate, heartfelt affair. The vicar was great and the ceremony was very sweet. From there, we rolled on down to ‘The Rolls’ golf club, in our Rolls Royce automobile. The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club is set in superb countryside with spectacular views of the Welsh hills. It is one of the most outstanding wedding venues I have worked with. The Mansion is the perfect location for a wedding. It offers four function rooms and a bar, all with magnificent views across the park and woodland of The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club. We used the grounds, and links in the background, for the formal shots.
Later on, dinner was served, speeches given, the cake was cut and the evening progressed. There was amazing live music, rock and funk, and drinks flowed as the wedding party ate , drank and were merry! Jo and Phil were super on their day, and it was an absolute treat to be part of their special occasion. Contact me to find out more, and have a look at the gallery to see what I can do for you.
