A couple of years ago I photographed Leah and Tims wedding day. They were a wonderful couple and made my life as a Bridgend wedding photographer very easy indeed! The day started in Monkton, near Monknash, in Leah’s family home. Monknash Coast is a coastal Site of Special Scientific Interest in Mid & South Glamorgan, South Wales. It contains Nash Point and forms part of the Glamorgan Heritage coast, bordered by Southerndown Coast to the northwest. The preparations went smoothly and a relaxed atmosphere followed the bride to be wherever she ventured.
The ceremony was held in the Catholic Parish of ‘Our Lady and St. Illtyd’ in Llantwit Major, and was a very heartwarming service. From there, the guests headed back to Monkton for a wonderful reception, held in an enormous marquee in a local field. The whole day was fabulous, and as we pushed through the formal shots, the guests cheered with banter and good will. The speeches were some of the best I’ve heard, and the food was superb.
As a Bridgend Wedding Photographer, it is great to have the scope to travel around South Wales and Bridgend shooting different locations and meeting the lovely people I encounter on their big day! Leah and Tim were wonderful people on their day; super chilled out, nice people, and they made the day a smooth one by just being themselves – happy, relaxed and in love!
