Peter Britton Photography {Bridgend Wedding Photography}

The wedding of Sarah-Jane and Gregor. What a wonderful day this was. In early March, I was honoured to be part ofSarah-Jane and Gregors big day. I started the day with Sarah-Jane in her family home, which was lovely. A relaxed atmosphere, fab people and some great light and we were off! While the bride made her preparations I photographed all the details, such as the bouquets, shoes and flowers. From there, I headed to Newton Church, where Gregor was meeting and greeting the guests for the day. Newton Church is a beautiful 12th century church, located in the village of Newton, a little to the east of Porthcawl. The guests took their seats and the Bride arrived, beaming and full of happiness. The ceremony was very sweet, and the entire church had an atmosphere of love.

From there, once the confetti was thrown, the happy couple and I took a stroll down to Newton Beach to capture some formal shots. The sun was out, and it was a beautiful day, as you can see from the photographs above. After the formal shots were complete, we then made our way to Pencoed House for the reception, wedding breakfast, and most importantly, the party. Pencoed House is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph, as it is just perfect for a wedding day. The grounds are beautiful, the hall is always superbly tended to and dressed, and the light is always good. Clive, Judy and Jamie are wonderful and always go so far out of their way to make sure that everyone (including me!) is happy. Jamie is pretty good on the mic too. We used the beautiful grounds for some more formal shots, then went on into the hall for one of the best wedding breakfasts you can have in South Wales. I have a lot of wedding nosh, and Pencoed House is up there with the best.

The party began in ernest after the meal was finished, with dancing, cutting of the cake and fun all round. If you would like to know anything about what I can do for you on your big day, then contact me. Alternatively, have a look at my pricing page, and browse through my gallery.
