Bridgend Wedding Photographer
Louise and Lee
This was a lovely wedding day. Located outside of my usual Bridgend wedding photography area, and set in the fabulous Llancaiach Fawr manor, the day had it all – including ‘the stig’!
I started photographing at the Brides family home, in Nelson. The atmosphere was full of nervous tension, which was broken as soon as the wedding car arrived, and the driver stepped out; it was non other than ‘The Stig’, from now defunct BBC program ‘Top Gear’! From there, we drove (quite quickly) to Llancaiach Fawr, for the wedding. The ceremony was wonderful, and held in the great hall, which was light and airy. After the ceremony, we shot some formal portraits around the grounds, which provided a wonderful backdrop for the portraits. The bride and groom then went in for their wedding breakfast. Cutting of the cake, first dance, champagne and speeches followed, and the evening rolled into night with a party atmosphere.
