This was one of my favourite weddings that I have had the pleasure to photograph. Matt and Beth got married in Bristol, which is one of my preferred locations to photograph weddings as it has it all. I love Bristol, with its water, history and magical atmosphere.
In this case, the happy couple were wed in the old council house on Corn Street, in the heart of Bristol. It’s a beautiful building, with high ceilings and period features that help make any wedding day there special. The ceremony was sweet and incredibly heartfelt. From there, we shot some formal portaits out on the front steps and then took a stroll through Bristol to the waterfront where we all boarded a lovely little boat. We went up the river Avon on the Towerbell boat. This was a fab touch on the day, and all involved had a whale of a time. The light was great and the weather warm and sunny.
After an hour on the river, we arrived at Beeses tea rooms. Located on the river Avon, Beeses is a nest of tranquility, surrounded by trees and calming water. It’s a great wedding venue, and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. All in all, it was a great day, and the little twists along the way made the day fabulous.
The day was superb. Congrats to Matt and Beth – you are both absolutely wonderful.
