Wedding photography in Bridgend and South Wales

Kate and Conrad tied the knot on Easter day in 2013. I started the day with the wonderful bride as she made her preparations for her big day. Her bridesmaid and her were extremely chilled out as they had their hair and make up done, and enjoyed a glass of champagne. From there, I went on down to Saint Catwgs church in Pentrych. Having never photographed there before, I was greatly surprised by the beauty and quality of light that the church had. The weather worked for us as well, as the sun shone and a blue sky followed us all day. We did a few formal shots before going inside the church for the ceremony, which was really lovely. After the ceremony, we did a few more formal shots and confetti photographs, and then drove down to Pencoed House.

Pencoed House is situated just outside Cardiff, and is one of my favourite venues to shoot wedding photography. It has marvellous old buildings, picturesque gardens and grounds and the food is always superb. When we got there, the boys all had a game of cricket on the big lawn, while the rest of the party mingled and had a glass of something bubbly. After the meal, the speeches were given, and the day rolled on into the night. First dance, cutting of the cake and general silliness came next as the night and party moved on. It was a great day; one that i shall remember and keep amongst my favourite wedding days. A real pleasure to be part of. Contact me for more info on what i can do for you on your big day.
