The wedding of Pip and Nick took place in St. Marys Church, and in Aldermaston Manor, near to Reading, some years ago. As a Bridgend wedding photographer, it was a bit of a hike, but nothing I’m not used to, regularly photographing couples wedding days all over the UK.

It was a truly great day. I started at the bar with Nick as he and his best man and ushers relaxed and enjoyed themselves before the ceremony. Upstairs, Pip was making her preparations with her maid of honour. I was able to get some fab shots of the bride and groom to be getting ready for their big day, including the secret car that was hired to take Pip to the church.

At the church the ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, and the St. Marys provided a lovely setting for the vows and exchange of rings. After the ceremony,  Pip, Nick and I went for a stroll around the grounds to capture some lovely formal shots in the beautiful setting that Aldermaston Manor offered. Aldermaston is a great wedding venue, with picturesque rooms and spectacular scenery. After our stroll, we did the rest of the formal shots and then went in for the speeches and wedding breakfast. It was a fabulous day, and Pip and Nick were a lovely couple and a pleasure to work with.
