On a wonderful June day last year, I found myself in Holmbury St. Mary photographing the amazing day of David and Hayley. The day started with Hayley at the family home, where I achieved some lovely pre-ceremony shots of her making her preparations for the day ahead. The rooms in the house allowed light to flood in, so my job was made easy. Hayley was amazing too, and I got some truly fantastic shots in the house.

From there, I took the two minute stroll across the road to the church, where Dave and his guests were waiting. Holmbury St. Mary church is a beautiful building, and the church overlooks the village, setting the scene for a fabulous day very nicely. Hayley arrived in a beautiful VW camper, and the ceremony was both amusing and heartfelt.

After the ceremony, the bride, groom and I completed some formal shots around the church, and then went up to the village hall, which proved to be a perfect venue for a summer wedding. The woods were on the doorstep, and the interior was light and spacious. The guests had a blast, and the bride and groom were absolutely wonderful on their day. Speeches, partying and an brilliant atmosphere rounded up a great day.
