A good few years ago now I photographed the wedding of Sara and greg, at the New House Country Hotel. It was a day to remember, and being a Bridgend wedding photographer it was lovely to venture into Cardiff for this one. The day began with Sara, at her house in Cardiff. As she was making her preparations, a big red bus arrived outside. It was one of the cleverest and amusing methods of wedding transportation I have seen in my career, and the wedding guests loved it – especially the younger ones! Once on the bus, we all ascended the hill to the New Country House Hotel, where the wedding ceremony and reception were to take place.
The ceremony itself was very special, and afterwards we went outside to complete the formal wedding photographs. The hotel is a great place to get married, as the gardens and grounds are lovely and the views over Cardiff are spectacular on a clear day. There was lots of fun to be had as the day rolled on, with a caricaturist, speeches and a delicious meal. It was a great day.
