On a beautiful spring day in April of 2014 I was lucky enough to be part of a wonderful couples wedding day. William and Becky got married in South Hams registration office in Totnes, in their beautiful Repton Room. The groom arrived first, full of eager anticipation to the day to come, and greeted his guests as they arrived. The Repton room looked amazing, and was full of wonderful light as it streamed in through the tall windows. Becky arrived a few minutes before the ceremony was due to start, and she looked totally fabulous in her white dress. The ceremony itself was heartfelt and sweet, and the happy couple beamed throughout.

After the ceremony, we performed a few formal shots on the steps outside, and then meandered our way down to Blackpool Sands for the reception and party. Blackpool Sands is a wonderful location for wedding photography and a wedding reception as the bay surrounds the beach and offers truly spectacular views. A great setting for a wedding. When we got there, the bride and groom welcomed their guests and mingled for a while, before we commenced with the formal shots down on the beach. It was lovely to get our toes in the sand! After that, I whisked the happy couple off for a few formal shots around the bay and we were then into the speeches and meal. The meal was really good, and the staff at Blackpool Sands were very accommodating to me as the wedding photographer!

After the speeches, the party began, and the guests took to the dancefloor. There were thrills and spills galore on the floor, as the guests line danced and hilarity ensued. It was a fabulous day, and one that I was proud to be part of. Will and Beck were amazing, and they are a wonderful couple.
