On Sunday 16th October 2016, a paddle out was held in memory of Craig Evans. The surfing community, and Craig’s friends and family gathered on Coney Beach, in Porthcawl. At 5pm, everyone entered the water, and paddled out in the choppy conditions. The dramatic sky overhead broke as the community entered the water, and the sun shone down on the sea. A circle was formed in the waves and Craig’s name was shouted in unison as everyone pulled together to remember their friend and loved one. It was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful individual.
You can purchase prints from the paddle out by clicking here. There are two print sizes to choose from – 12″ x 8″ or 16″ x 12″. Be aware that the latter option is actually printed at 18″ x 12″… The prices are special rates, with around 40% of the cost of your print being donated to Tenovus Cancer Care.

I’m a professional wedding photographer based in the Bridgend, Cardiff and Swansea areas. I’ve been shooting wedding photography professionally for the last 12 years since I left university, where I studied photography. I studied photography for three years full time, so you can be assured I know how to take a great picture.
Apart of my wedding photography and freelance photography work, I also lecture in photography at university level. My work is widespread and has included everything from editorial to advertising, and studio to location over the years.
As I’m a Bridgend based wedding photographer, I’ve worked at most of the popular churches and reception venues and with lots of different wedding suppliers.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have, I’d love to hear from you.
