Back in August I had the privilege of being part of the wonderful Barri and Claire’s wedding day. The day started in Bridgend with Claire and her bridesmaids getting ready. The setting was gorgeous and the weather was great, with sunny skies and a clear view. We did some lovely pre-ceremony coverage, including the dress and all the details. The flowers were very pretty and complimented the dress really well.

From there I travelled through Bridgend to the church where the ceremony was to be held, and where Barri was eagerly waiting and greeting his guests. Claire arrived looking splendid, and the ceremony was really sweet and incredibly heartfelt. The bride and groom were fab. After the ceremony, we went across to the castle to get the formal shots finished with the church and castle setting a truly beautiful backdrop.

The wedding reception was held in Brewery Fields Bridgend County. It’s a perfect venue for wedding photography and the wedding reception itself. Drinks and nibbles were served, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We did a few more formal shots in the grounds.

The bride and groom then welcomed their guests for the wedding breakfast in the main room, which was wonderfully decorated and laid out. The details and fine touches that Barri and Claire put into the day were most evident here, as the tables looked great. The food was lovely, and all the staff were really helpful on the day. Before the food, the speeches were performed, and everyone did a very good job.
