In mid February I photographed the fabulous wedding day of Tracy and Richard. The day began at The Great House, in Laleston, Bridgend. The sun was shining, setting the scene for the day ahead, and the old stone building looked amazing in the lovely winter light. I photographed as the guests arrived, and the atmosphere was as relaxed and warm as the weather.
The Great House is a lovely wedding venue with a traditional feel and striking architecture, and provided a wonderful backdrop on the day. Tracy arrived looking spectacular and once she had walked the aisle, the ceremony commenced. It was sweet and heartfelt, and the ceremony was really great. After the ceremony, we did the formal shots outside with the house as a backdrop. The light that we had on the day was good and we used the sunshine to our benefit.
After the formal shots were complete, drinks were served, people mingled and the wedding breakfast was brought out. The day was superb. Congrats to Tracy and Richard – you are both wonderful.
