Back in September I was fortunate enough to photograph for Daniel and Leighton on their wedding day. Daniel and I have been friends for years, as Dan is a cousin of mine and one of the loveliest gentlemen you’ll ever meet. The wedding day was honestly one of the best I have photographed, and it was a joy to be part of.

I started the day with Dan and Leighton at their beautiful home, where they were getting ready. The mood was one of excitement and it was a great start to the day. I photographed some lovely details and we did some group shots in the garden. From there we moved on to the fabulous wedding venue. Llansantffraed Court is a venue I had not shot before, but it proved to be amazing on the day. Beautiful architecture and a fantastic layout lent itself well to great photography. The ceremony was superb and the connection and love that D & L have for one another really came through. After the ceremony, we did some formal shots in the grounds and gardens, and mingled in the lovely settings.

As the day wound on, we went inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. the speeches were very good; funny and emotional, and quite animal oriented. As the day turned into night, the guests visited the bar and took to to the dancefloor, but not before Daniel and Leighton did one of the best first dances I have been party to – a dance the chicken song.

The day was superb. Congrats to Daniel and Leighton – you are both absolutely wonderful. You can see ALL the photography (nearly 550 images, including all the formal/couple shots) from the wedding day HERE, and you can also purchase prints via this link.
