On the degree courses that I teach we try to get out of the classroom as much as we can to give the students the best possible experiences that they can have.

On the degree courses this year, we have visited various locations including Bristol, London, New York and Cardiff. By partaking in field trips the students are able to put into practice that which they have learned in class in an environment that is exciting and engaging, whilst still receiving support and mentoring from their tutors.

One location that our photography students visited this year was in the heart of waterfall country, in Ystradfellete. The degree students walked and and photographed the four falls trail. It is one of the most remarkable field trips that we do, and the beauty of the location can be seen in the video that I filmed and created below. Press HD!
